Solution

Smarter entry for South Florida homes

At home, entry is about convenience and peace of mind: a code instead of a key, a doorbell you can answer from anywhere, and a gate that opens for the people you expect. We start with your doors and how your household uses them, then recommend and install what fits.

Common home projects

  • A keypad or smart deadbolt on the front door and garage entry
  • A video doorbell with a chime that works with your existing wiring
  • A driveway gate intercom that rings your phone
  • Entrance and driveway cameras viewable from the same app
  • Codes for family, housekeepers, and contractors that you can change anytime

Doors in South Florida homes

Impact-rated doors, multipoint locks, and double French doors are common here and affect which smart lock fits. We check the door before recommending a model, and tell you plainly when a door isn't a good candidate.

Compatibility considerations

Not every product fits every door or property. These are the things we check first:

  • Multipoint and many impact doors need compatible hardware.
  • Video doorbells need adequate Wi-Fi at the door.
  • Gate intercoms require a working operator with a trigger input.
  • HOA rules may cover exterior devices and gate changes.

What to send us

A few details help us check compatibility before we recommend anything:

  • Photos of the door from outside, inside, and the edge (showing the latch and deadbolt)
  • Door thickness and whether it's wood, metal, glass, or fiberglass, if you know
  • The lock model you're considering, if any
  • For condos: any association rules about unit door hardware

Common questions

Can you install a lock I already bought?
Usually — send the model and door photos so we can confirm fit first.
Will the lock still work without Wi-Fi?
Keypad locks work without Wi-Fi; remote features need a connection.
Can my doorbell and lock use the same app?
Some combinations do. We check the specific models before promising they'll work together.
